Hawaii: Volcanos, Turtles and Beautiful Beaches on Big Island

Active volcanos, lava, giant turtles, green and black sand beaches, the largest island of the state of Hawaii… Big Island is without a doubt one of the most amazing places I’ve been in the world! I wasn’t expecting much and it took me a while to feel the vibe of the island. When I got used to it, it was time to leave and fly to Maui (click HERE for my TOP 5 things to do in Maui)! Whenever I think about my days in Kona and Hilo, my heart smiles, I really can’t wait to go back to Hawaii and experience everything again!

We spent 2 days in Kona and 2 in Hilo, both sides of the island have differente climate and vibe. I’ll even say different lifestyle and I felt like even though people share the same island, they have their differences and it was so interesting to see.
