New York City Tips
How to get to and from airports:
If you’re traveling light or enjoy some adventure, the subway is the cheapest way to get to and from Manhattan and it can be faster than a taxi or other shuttle services during rush hour.
From Manhattan to JFK by subway/metro:
Take one of the subway lines: E, Z or J towards Queens/Jamaica Center/Persons/Archer.
Get off on Sutphin Blvd./Archer Ave/JFK Airport – If you take the E train, it usually takes 35 minutes between JFK & Penn Station.- Once you get there, follow the signs for Air Train that will take you the terminals. The metrocard costs $5. For more info click HERE!
You can also take the Long Island Rail Road and transfer to the Air Train in case you’re closer to the the train than to the subway: http://lirr42.mta.info/
