Housing Works bookstore and thrift store
There are several Housing Works thrift shops around the city. They take donations of clothes, books, decor items, accessories and much more. All the profit is dedicated to HIV/AIDS victims to ensure they have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, along other life services. SoHo’s Housing Works is great because it’s both a thrift shop and a second-hand bookstore; there’s even a cafe where you can enjoy your book with a snack! It’s a very clean place that offers articles in great shape! You should definitely drop by if you’re able. I’ve found really cool things there. It’s located at 130 Crosby Street, New York, NY. Goodwill
Well-known throughout most of America, you can find a bit of everything at Goodwill, from clothing to furniture and decor articles. There are several stores in the country and, of course, there is also one in NYC. You usually won’t find expensive items there, although not everything will be in good shape. Either way, it’s worth a visit.
