Ulta Beauty – With more than 5 stores in the NYC area and offering more than 500 brands from makeup to perfumes and even a beauty salon, make sure to stop by for a large selection of your favorite brands!
Harmon Face Values – If you wanna save big, this is the place to shop for all your popular brands like L’Oreal, Maybelline, NYX, Revlon, Cover Girl, Neutrogena, Physicians Formula, Essie, etc…They also have a great selection of hair tools and travel size items and other random itens that go from cleaning supplies to gloves and hand warmers.
Credo – This is not your average beauty store. What I love the most about Credo is that they work with organic, cruelty-free and not toxic to your skin products. Their selection is pretty good and they made shopping a lot easier. The Credo store is located at 9 Prince Street, New York, NY. Check the website for more details and brands HERE!
LOVUE– I love Korea Town for the food and even more for the amount of beauty stores you will find. My favorite one is LOVUE, they have the best selection of brands (over 100) such as TonyMoly, Neogen, Heimish, Pyungkang Yul, Scinic, Dr Jart +, A True, etc. It’s great because you can test them all in one place. The store is bright and young, to complete the experience they play k-pop videos on a big screen! The store is located at 324 5th Avenue, New York.
Sephora – Well, you might have heard this name before haha Sephora has a great selection of make-up and beauty products in genera; and when you open U$50 or more you can make an appointment to get your akeup done by one of the makeup artists who work there. There are many locations in the NYC area, but I like shopping at the Shops At Columbus Circle, it’s a lot quieter.
Drugstores- Before moving to the States I knew the drugstores were nothing like the ones I grew up going to at home. It’s more like grocery store meets beauty store and in the middle somehow you find medicine and stuff related. So yep, you can find a lot of beauty products and make-up with good prices at Walgreens, Duane Reade, CVS and Rite Aid, the most popular ones in the city.
Bed bath and Beyond – Yes, the beyond here includes a lot of beauty and some make-up tools. Also a large variety of hair aos skin care. Make sure to check their travel size section as well.

One of the best ways to visit all the paid attractions in NYC is buying a discount pass such as CityPass, Sightseeing Pass and New York Pass. They offer a lot of attractions with a great discount so after using the pass a few times it’s basically free.
