Brunch with a view: my experience at Asiate!
If you follow me on instagram (@marthasachser) or snapchat you probably know that I love the Columbus Circle area in Manhattan! Whenever I’m around I am always sharing with you my best spots like this particular one I’ll be talking about today which is my new favorite “meal with a view” experience in NYC! I was invited by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to have brunch at Asiate, located on the 35th floor of the hotel. Need I say more?
It was love at first sight! Not only the view was breathtaking but the service and the food were just perfect. Seriously. And a huge plus for the chef who didn’t think twice to accommodate my vegan requests, impressing me with a a rice noodle dish and a tropical fruit sorbet, which was AMAZING! Plus their “naturally vegan” options, which were delicious!
Modern, sophisticated, great wine selection and a view that couldn’t get any more perfect: you can see Central Park and the vibrant Columbus Circle right there. Asiate is one of those restaurant that make locals and tourists happy and you just can’t go wrong with it. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and a three-course prix fixe brunch menu on weekends, which was the perfect option for me. Make sure to order their famous Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with English muffin, french toast or belgium waffle.
If you wanna make any special occasion even more special, make sure to reserve a table by checking their official website HERE or calling(212) 805 8881. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is located at: 80 Columbus Circle at 60th Street, New York, New York. I highly recommend the experience and I can’t wait to be back! See you soon!
