Vegan fast (and healthy) food in NY: my experience at Terri
The other day Ju and I had lunch at Terri, a vegan fast food/restaurant here in New York! And since you guys always ask me about healthy and vegan places to eat, here is one of my new favorites! Since we went for lunch we had sandwiches and wraps, but there is a wide selection of salads and other healthy options as well as juices to go. I loooooved our Meatball Sub, Fish Filet and the Hummus & Avocado wrap. And the cherry on top was the Green Power smoothie, made with kale, pear, banana, almond butter and soy milk … seriously, it is SO good! On the menu we saw the Brazilian Bombshell, made with acai, cherry, blueberry, mango, banana, agave and soy milk, but you can replace it with coconut or almond milk if you want. So I’m excited to try that next time!
Prices at Terri are pretty reasonable, unfortunately we had no room left for dessert, but I came back several times later and let me tell you that the brownies are hands down my favorite. I also love some of the cookies and cupcakes, but always end up getting the brownie!
Terri – which was founded by two longtime friends with experience in management and vegan restaurants – has now 3 locations in New York, one in Chelsea, one in Midtown and one in the Wall Street area. The one I went to is located at 685 3rd Avenue, near Grand Central. They also delivery and offer catering services, so cheers to another healthy and cruelty free option in New York that you will love! Click HERE to check their website and menu! See you next time!
