Inside The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival!
Cupcakes, macarons, burgers, cookies, different forms of protein and compassion took NY by storm this past weekend at the Metropolitan Pavilion when the anual NYC Vegetarian Food Festival took place. The event gathered thousands of vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters, all excited to learn more about what is available in the market and of course, try everything the exhibitors had available, all cruelty free. I loved the energy and learning more about some of the brands and couldn’t wait to share with you all!
I got there super early so within an hour I was able to see almost everything. But towards lunch time, the place was reaaally packed, which was great to see. But if you want an easier experience, I recommend arriving earlier or later on the day if the event takes place in that venue again. Besides the wonders of food sampling, there were short vegan cooking classes and guest speakers with lots of information to share with everyone about a life without animal cruelty. I was also very excited to see a Brazilian company among the exhibitors, Surya Brazil! And was beyond happy when I saw the Catskill Animal Sanctuary booth, one of the places I wanna go visit this year for sure. If you wanna see my complete gallery for the event, click HERE! And don’t forget to check the official website to stay tuned and learn more about the next festivals! It was my first time attending the festival and I can’t wait for next year!
