Confessions of a Shopaholic – Movie locations in NY!
Confessions of a Shopaholic is one of my favorite movies! The film was released in 2009 and it was through it that I read the book of the same name written by the best seller British author, Sophie Kinsella. I admit that when I first read the book I was shocked by the many differences between the book and the film. But both are great and I loved the soundtrack, photography, clothing, and of course the locations chosen to film the movie! And I also saw the movie in the theaters 3 time because yes, I was obsessed, so do yourself a favor and go watch it right now if you can!
Synopsis: New York. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a girl who loves to shop and her addiction leads her to bankruptcy. Her biggest dream is to one day work in her favorite fashion magazine and ahve a perfect life, but she ends up landing a job as a columnist in a finances magazine by the same publisher. When her dream is about to be come true, she rethinks her ambitions.
