HAPPY BONES

Happy Bones has the best of both worlds, in addition to its instagrammable vibes, it also features highly-praised coffee, dear to locals and tourists alike. It’s a small place, but the industrial and minimalist decoration provides the perfect background for plenty of modern and cool pictures. You can also check out several works by local artists on the walls and marvel at the shelves full of books for sale. If you’re the hipster type, you’ll certainly love Happy Bones!

The menu features coffee beverages, some artisanal products, cold beverages, and vegan or gluten-free options.

THE BLUE BOX CAFE

I’ve always wanted a Tiffany & Co ring. Although it is way out of my and several people’s budgets, there’s still an alternative option to dive into the wondrous world 0f this designer brand: visiting their themed restaurant on Fifth Avenue. It is said that spending an afternoon there is almost as good as getting the jewelry. Could it be?

Blue Box Cafe, as you can imagine, lives up to its name and prints its elegant style onto the walls, chairs, and cutlery. When it comes to the menu, you can choose breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Prices aren’t that affordable, but many people say it’s worth it. Booking may be difficult, so try it a few times on their official website a month before (HERE)! Breakfast options start at US$ 32 (2019).

Address: 727 5th Ave 4th Floor, New York, NY 10022, EUA.

FLOUR SHOP

Rainbows, unicorns, donuts and loads of color all in one place… That’s Flour Shop’s promise, a NYC venue that serves sweets and Instagram-worthy desserts.

It feels like everything inside is begging to be photographed: colorful cakes, rainbow-painted walls, balloons, and several other elements. It’s amazing how each room forces you to stop and click! Even if you don’t feel like eating anything (tough, huh?), I suggest stopping by to check out their dessert presentation and their decoration.

RALPH’S COFFEE

Tiffany isn’t the only one with its own restaurant… Ralph Lauren also features a gastronomic venue, or three, to be exact. Yes, there are three different Ralph’s Coffee addresses you can visit: Madison Ave, Rockefeller Center (first picture below), and Flatiron District.

They are incredible when it comes to decoration since vintage details are masterfully combined with a classic/sophisticated touch — the trademark of Ralph Lauren stores. Coffee-wise, no complaints at all. All grains are organically grown in Central America, South America, and Asia. Dessert and snack options are delicious as well!

Keep in mind that the Rockerfeller’s address is a food truck, so, in case you’d like to experience more of the restaurant surroundings, stop by Madison Ave or Flatiron District.

Addresses:

888 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10021, EUA.

45 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10111, EUA.

160 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010, EUA.

ALICE’S TEA CUP

Those who’ve been following the blog for a while probably read about Alice’s Tea Cup before, since it’s one of my favorite destinations for coffee and desserts in NYC. As the name suggests, the cafe was inspired by the famous story “Alice in Wonderland”. Yes… It’s almost as cute as a fairytale scenery.

At Alice’s you can experience a tea with lovely teapots and teacups, decorated cookies, colorful cakes and all the elements of a true Wonderland meal, which makes you feel like you’re living in the book of Lewis Carroll. There is more than one location in the city but my favorite one is in the Upper East Side.

Locations:

102 W 73rd St, New York, NY
156 E 64th St, New York, NY
43 Hicks Street, Brooklyn, NY

Sweet Moment is a coffee shop in NYC that became Instagram-famous for its instagrammable latte art featuring cute bears. The drawings are so beautiful you almost forget to drink your coffee lol. They also serve ice cream, cake and other personalized desserts with cute faces.

The industrial decoration stands out for mixing modern elements with plants and rustic features. It’s a good background for pictures!
