Our experience at Alyeska Resort in Alaska!
Today I’m sharing with you my experience at one of the most beautiful hotels in Alaska, the Alyeska Resort. The place is all you can dream and expect of a perfect hotel: location, comfy rooms, great restaurants, some shops, great customer service, pool, swirl pool, spa, gym… the lsit goes on and on. Then you add one of my favorite parts: nature! The resort is surrounded by nature, mountains, glaciers… There are also several hiking trails if you’re adventurous like me! If you follow me on instagran you know that this time I only spent 3 days in Alaska and my stay at Alyeska was one of my favorite parts.
The hotel also offers concierge services and they can help you better plan your trip and all the details. They also have an anual event calendar, so you can know ahead of time everything that is going on at the hotel.
Another great thing is that the hotel is also a touristic spot, not only for its great location between Anchorage and Seward- but also as a world class skii resort. It is also home to the famous Alyeska Aerial Tram, that takes you to the top of Mt. Alyeska (2,300 feet high), which offers an amazing view of the hotel grounds and all nature that surrounds it. If you are ven more adventurous and have enough energy, you can also skip the tram and hike all the way up.
At the top of the mountain you will find two restaurants, the more casual one, Bore Tide Deli and bar and the “fancy” one, Seven Glaciers, make sure you check the hours of operation for both the tram and restaurants, winter in Alaska affect many attractions throughout the year which is the case at Alyeska.
At the end of the day filled with adventures, treat yourself with a nice dinner, some swimming, spa services or a swirl pool, it is very relaxing! There are many options to feel like you are having a real vacation! I hope you guys enjoyed learning more about the Alyeska hotel as much I did and make sure to stop by if you are planning a trip to Alaska! Don’t forget to check their website for more info HERE!
