Mojito, pineapple, lavender sweet butter rosemary, banana peanut butter, pistachio, lemon coconut…! These are some of the flavors you will find at Dun well Doughnuts, a vegan shop that introduces itself as the best doughnut of New York City (and the world!), so of course I had to go check it out and share my experience with you guys! The first shop opened its doors in 2011 and 5 years later was time for St. Marks Place, one of my favorite streets in Manhattan, to welcome their new location! The prices are pretty okay, the regular ones are $2.50 and the ones with filling, $2.75. The shop is small, so don’t expect to sit down and grab a table, but to be quite honest, you won’t even miss it, the location invites you for nice walks around the iconic East village and Lower East Side neighborhoods and a doughnut to go and experience this part of NY is the cherry on top! The shop is cozy and you can hang out inside or outside like me if you want, they also serve coffe, tea and vegan ice cream!

Their doughnuts are super soft, sweet and light, you wouldn’t believe there is no dairy or eggs involved. I have a sweet tooth and I’m vegan, so yes, to me they are the best or one of the best doughnuts in town! But I encourage you to try for yourself! Make sure to follow them on instagram, there is always something exciting happening and new flavors to try! The Dun Well Doughnuts is located at 102 St. Marks Place, New York. I hope you guys like it and don’t forget to follow me on instagram @marthasachser and @blognyandabout for more NY tips adventures in the city!
