The perfect avocado toast at Bluestone Lane

It’s not a secret to anyone who follows me that DUMBO is one of my favorite places in New York and it’s in my TOP 5 neighborhoods to live in the (hopefully) near future. So when I heard Bluestone Lane had a new location in the area, I couldn’t wait to go and share with all of you. Why? Even though they are famous for their delicious coffee, I’m simply obsessed with avocado toasts and I’ve heard great things about the ones they make, which includes a generous amount of avocado and tomatoes, two of my favorite combinations. Needless to say I was beyond excited to check it out and say that yes, it is THAT good (and make sure to let them know how toasted you like it, I’m more on the crunchy side!)!

But as you can see in the pictures below, we had a lot more to eat and make our Sunday even better: we ordered their fresh rainbow bowl (wish I could eat that every.single.day.), tea and Ryu had a bacon and egg roll sandwich, which he enjoyed – and I’m sure he wished he could have eaten it while it was still warm, it took me forever to take the pictures. But hey, it’s worth it, right? – Their coffee was reaaaaally good and the place was filled with good and young energy in a modern and fresh ambiance, so it was quite hard to leave. But I knew the charming streets of Dumbo were waiting for me as well as one of my favorite views of New York’s skyline! Curious?
