Gossip Girl Tour in NYC! – Filming locations

“Hello Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here!”… If your heart beats faster every time your hear these words together, this post is for you! I was invited by On Location Tours to experience first hand (this tour is also included in the New York Explorer Pass!) their world famous film and TV shows sites tours in New York City, home of my favorite TV series of all times: Gossip Girl! What I love the most about this company is that they offer a variety of tours for all TV and movie lovers, including the hot spots of Sex And The City and a complete Central Park tour of all my favorite movies with great and excited tour guides, they are fun and passionate about the shows! But back to Gossip Girl,  yes, as you may know I had the pleasure of watching them film the show several times when I moved to New York in 2010, so taking the tour was such a joy and a flashback to me. Sharing those moments with other fans was special and I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it!

The tour was 3 hours long and we stopped at some of the shows’s most famous spots, including the MET steps, the Palace Hotel, the Empire Hotel and the Constance Billard & St. Jude’s schools. It was also very nice to hear stories about how some scenes were shot and facts about the cast that I didn’t know. Wast it worth it? Yes! But I recommend you taking the tour on your first days in NYC, some spots are naturally touristic attractions so it will be more interesting to see them with the tour!
